Invitation from Middlesex University and HAGA
Middlesex University and HAGA (Haringey Advisory Group on Alcohol) are pleased to invite you to a discussion of our findings from a research project exploring the pathways into, through and beyond alcohol treatment for Polish people living in North London.
To assist us in developing recommendations for future service planning and delivery we would value the input and thoughts of those who work with this (or other Eastern European) group in any context where access to alcohol treatment services is relevant.
The workshop will be held on Tuesday 26th February, 12.30pm to 4pm at Shine (89-91 Turnpike Lane, Haringey, London N8 0DY). ‘More than Minutes’ will attend to create visual minutes of the discussion on the day (find out more at www.morethanminutes.co.uk). An outline agenda for the day will be forwarded on confirmation of attendance.
We will provide a light lunch on the day – for catering purposes please confirm attendance by Tuesday 19th February via email to the address below. It would help us in organising the discussion if you could also provide some information on; the organisation you work for, your job role and the type(s) of support services you offer to Eastern European people in your role/organisation.
If you know of colleagues who may be interested in attending please feel free to share this invitation among your networks.
To confirm your attendance or if you have any questions please contact me at: h.gleeson@mdx.ac.uk or by phone on 020 8411 4560 during office hours.
