Learning Symposium: Evidence-informed decision-making

This session will be delivered by Gerry Nosowska, Research in Practice Consultant.

This session will:

• Give participants tools to support good decision-making in adult social care, drawing on evidence.

Participants will be able to:

• Understand the context of decision-making in adult social care
• Understand the elements of a defensible decision
• Understand how evidence can support you to make good decisions
• Consider the ethical aspects of decision making
• Develop enablers and overcome barriers to good decision-making
• Identify actions to take in practice to support good decision-making

* This session is open to Social Workers and staff working in Social Care across the Teaching Partnership (Barnet, Hackney, Haringey, Enfield, and Norwood).
