In collaboration with the Social Work team at Middlesex University, the North London Social Work Teaching Partnership is providing an employability day for final year BA and MA social work students on Tuesday 22 May 2018.

This is a fantastic opportunity for you to meet with local employers and find out what they are looking for when recruiting newly qualified social workers and what it is like to work within local authorities and voluntary sector organisations.

In the morning, our practical and interactive workshop will equip you with hard and soft employability skills needed to confidently tackle any application form and interview. In the afternoon, local employers will promote their upcoming social work vacancies at the employment fair. You will also have a unique opportunity to ask local employers questions at a Q&A panel session, as well as putting the skills learnt during the morning workshop into practice at the mock interview session with employers.
