‘Crackhouses’, Exploitation and Countylines

This session will be delivered by Craig Pinkney, Criminologist and Urban Youth Specialist, Birmingham, UK.

The session aims to:

• Explore this phenomena, surrounding the rise of young people across the United Kingdom going missing and engaging in the selling of drugs for criminal organisations outside of their region.
• Highlight the dangers associated with young people being involved in such activities and the implications this may have on policy and challenges to professional practice.
